Pediatrician and Adoption Specialist........

An important resource to secure when going through an International Adoption is a specialized pediatrician. Dave and I recently hired an amazing pediatrician and adoption specialist to work with us during the adoption process, Dr. Melissa Goldstein who is a pediatrician with Carnegie Hill Pediatrics in NYC. It was important for us to find a medical professional to help us review medical records, Russian medical terminology, photos, etc. as we prepare for the journey to bring our son home. Both Dave and I connected with Dr. Goldstein immediately and feel confident that she will help us make the best educated decisions for our family.

More information about Dr. Goldstein....
Dr. Melissa Goldstein is an American pediatrician who recently spent 3 years in Moscow where she worked as a pediatrician at the European Medical Center (EMC). She brought to Moscow her knowledge of the latest developments in Western Pediatric Medicine. In addition to her work at the EMC as a pediatrician, Dr. Goldstein specializes in facilitating international adoptions by helping prospective parents with medical exams and screening tests, and through her close contacts with colleagues and friends involved in adoption programs in New-York. Dr. Goldstein is a United States board-certified pediatric specialist. She received her medical degree from the Cornell University Medical College in New York. After completing medical school, she remained in New York City where she did her pediatric residency training at the Cornell - New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a pediatrician, Dr. Goldstein is trained to treat children from birth through age 21.
